Carnaval bring you the perfect mix of exciting, up-tempo latin-pop music, glamorous stage show, stunning visuals, audience interaction and enough pure energy to keep you dancing all night long.

The band take their inspiration from the carnivals of South America which are famous throughout the world for their vibrant, colourful displays, energetic dancing and dynamic rhythms and bring you this party atmosphere in a modern, state-of-the-art show with the hottest music from the best of the genre's artists.

Carnaval have toured extensively across Europe and America, visiting the people and places that have become the source of their inspiration and they bring their enthusiasm and expertise of latin-pop music and dance for you to enjoy.

Latin music is designed with one thing in mind – dance. Our show will transport you to a world where the heat of the day is captured in the music of the night. The melodies are enticing. The beats are infectious. The dancing is irresistible.

Our dancers demonstrate some of the most popular Salsa steps and teach them to willing audience members. Our percussionists lead some brave volunteers in an intricate percussion intro. Our singers get the audience to become the vital backing vocalists for a song or two.

For contrast we can also play a short acoustic set at the front of the stage, providing some moments of intimacy before the lights brighten again, and the band return to their instruments for the grand, party-time finale.

Our audiences range greatly in their musical (and dancing) tastes so we can also include songs from a wide range of contemporary pop standards to compliment our Latin tracks and ensure that every audience is fully catered for. We are happy to offer either a mixture of Latin and Pop songs or have a whole set of either style. You just have to decide what style of dancing you want to do!

Our standard show comprises 1x90 minute or 2x60 minute sets with an 8- piece band (2 female vocalists/dancers, keyboards, guitar, bass guitar, drums, percussion and brass) and features a vibrant 3KW automated lighting rig, top-of-the-range 2KW PA and, if desired, two exceptional Salsa dancers who will demonstrate and teach a variety of Salsa steps to willing audience members or simply be an additional part of the glamorous stage show.

For larger events we provide an expanded 3-piece brass section, laser-light show with 5KW lighting rig and 10KW PA including front-of-house sound engineer, plus additional dancers if required.

We can help to decorate and theme any venue to create that tropical party atmosphere and we always dress the stage with backdrops, palm trees and, for larger events, video screens showing a range of footage from tropical images to live shots of the band and even the crowd itself.

We have a huge selection of suitable pre-show and interval music on CD or we can provide an experienced DJ to play a complimentary range of music from Latin to Pop.
